Choose your blinds, starting chips and blind timer. It takes a few seconds.
2. Share the link
Send it to your group chat. Friends tap it, pick a name and take a seat, on any phone or computer.
3. Deal
Pokerio shuffles, deals and works out the pots. You just play, and chat at the table if you like.
More fun than a plain poker table
Blind timer
Double the blinds every 10 minutes for a game with a proper ending, or set your own pace.
The new deck call
Don't like what's coming? Once a game, call for the cards still to come to be reshuffled.
End-of-game stats
Standings, awards, a chip chart and how random the cards were, ready to share with the group.
Questions
Is Pokerio really free?
Yes. There are no ads, no paid version and no payments of any kind. The chips are play chips and are worth nothing.
Do my friends need an account or an app?
No. Send them the table link and they pick a name and sit down. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.
What poker game is it?
No-Limit Texas Hold'em for up to nine players, with side pots, all-ins and proper minimum raises under standard rules.
Can I set my own rules?
Yes. The host can set starting chips, blinds, antes, rebuy limits, turn timers and who can join. A blind timer can double the blinds every 10 minutes, or at any pace you like.
What is the new deck call?
Each player can call for a new deck once a game, during a hand they're still in. Their cards stay, and the cards still to come are reshuffled. The host can change how many calls players get, or turn it off.
Are the cards really random?
Every hand starts from a full deck shuffled on the server using a cryptographic random number generator. At the end of each game, you can see how often every card came up.
Does it tell me what hand I have?
No. Pokerio shows your cards and leaves reading them to you, because that's part of the game. Hand names only appear once a hand is over and the cards are shown.
Is my data kept?
No personal data is kept. Tables live in memory and disappear when they close. We only count daily totals, such as how many hands were dealt, and those say nothing about who played. See the privacy page for details.
